If you like the look and feel of an Isabella awning but require more internal space then the Commodore is a great option. Based on the all-time best-selling Ambassador awning the Commodore has all the same features but is deeper at 300cm. An Isaroof Acrylic material creates a comfortable environment inside the awning by being breathable and lots of mesh panels give a bug free breeze. Ventilation is a key aspect of the Commodore as it has mosquito nets built into all three sides. An Apex front vent twinned with side mesh windows increases airflow while giving a barrier against insects. The sides have a door at each end of the panel to give multi access when the weather turns. Made to be used as a touring or seasonal awning, Isabella gives you the option of colours so you can match your new awning to your caravan: their premium Dawn fabric is slightly more traditional, whereas the North material has a slightly more modern feel. Both are relatively light in weight but durable in lifespan.

There are three options when it comes to frames: a 25mm Galvanised Zinox Steel Frame with T-Rex locking clamps; the second is a 26mm CarbonX frame which is reinforced with Fibreglass and uses the IsaFix locking clamps. Both of these frames are perfect for touring or seasonal use, but the CarbonX will be about a 1/3 of the weight of steel without losing any sturdiness. The third option is a 32mm MegaFrame with welded corners and MegaFix dual wingnuts, it would only be recommended for seasonal use as it is a bit heavier. The Commodore is really flexible and if needed has a whole host of optional extras available to make a home away from home; some of these extras include an Annexe for storage or extra sleeping options: Full front canopy for even more rain protection or a ‘Cosy Corner’ to shelter the front door. A canopy strip on both side of the Commodore enables you to add some smaller extensions like Door Canopy or a roof Gutter.

There are lots of touches in the Commodore which are designed to increase the lifespan of the awning: reinforced pegging points and corners come as standard to make the awning last the test of time. The roof seams are triple folded and double stitched to keep the elements out. An internal PVC mud-skirt is easy to clean and can be overlapped with an optional carpet to provide a solid seal. All of the front & side panels can be folded down to form a veranda, or removed completely for ease of pitching. A front canopy which goes down to the ground protects the rain from coming into the front of the awning and a horizontal roof pole retains stability and completely tensions the fabric.

Not only does it go the full length or your caravan but it also has a staggering 350cm depth. Designed to give you as much internal space as you could need on your seasonal site. If you need, you can add additional annexes on either side for even more space. Flexibility is an important theme of this awning as there are multiple doors throughout the Penta to allow you to have the setup you prefer; an additional inner partition can be purchased separately if you truly wish to split the awning up into sections. A canopy peak runs the entire outside length of the pentagon shape to provide extra cover for all of the doors and windows.

The main side panels have an offset door next to the large window to give you better vision onto the campsite. Both the side panels can be interchanged with one another to reposition the side door towards the back/front. An entrance door is also situated on the angled corners to allow you to have access into the awning without comprising on windows. A canopy door can also be added onto either main door to give a weather protected entrance.
